Athletic Director's Message
This year we are hoping to be able to run all sports as normal. The following are the sports offered and which grade levels are eligible to participate in the sport.

These are the requirements to participate in sports at EMS this year:
- All students must have a valid sports physical from a doctor on file in our office. The physicals are valid for 2 years, so if you got a physical to participate last year it may still be valid.
- All parents must go online and fill out Final Forms to be able to have your athlete participate. Final Forms is replacing Family ID this year. This is where insurance information is collected and other protocols are verified by the parent. Make sure to check all sports that you intend to play. - You must be academically eligible to participate. Students have to be passing all but one class on their course load. For example, if you have 6 classes you have to be passing 5, if you have 7 classes you have to be passing 6, etc. They will also have to maintain a 2.0 GPA, which is a C average. Grades are checked every 2 weeks throughout the season to verify eligibility. If at any time you become ineligible, you need to contact him when you bring your grades up so that he can check them and make you eligible. You can not become eligible the day of the game so make sure you get everything taken care of in advance.
